Strangely Warmed

Rev. Barbara Miner, Associate Pastor/Director of Worship, Floris UMC

Description: From Anglican roots to the Holy Club, to an experience where he felt his heart “strangely warmed,” John Wesley was the heart of Methodism. He was an imperfect person who desired to be sanctified in Christ. He spent the rest of his life  pursuing that faith. What can we learn from John Wesley and his brother Charles about being a Methodist today.

Audience: Discipleship, Leadership, Spiritual Formation, Wesleyan Heritage
